OPTIMA Herbarium & Library |
Wishing to lend strength and durability to Palermo’s commitment to the OPTIMA cause, the International Board, at its meeting on 9 Sep 2013, decided to give official recognition to the Herbarium Mediterraneum in Palermo as OPTIMA’s Central Herbarium and Library. It encourages its members, and all botanists working on Mediterranean plants, to deposit their plant material, in duplicate or original, as well as copies of their relevant publications, in the Herbarium Mediterraneum for insertion and safekeeping in the Greuter collections.
